PIB : Le Burundi n’a pas bonne presse, lanterne rouge du classement FMI

Le Burundi rime avec la pauvreté, l’extrême pauvreté. Tel est le verdict du Fonds Monétaire International (FMI) traduit dans son dernier rapport.

Le Burundi et le Sud-Soudan ferment la liste des vingt-cinq pays ayant eu le plus faible Produit intérieur brut (PIB) par habitant dans le monde en 2019.

Sur les vingt-cinq pays classés, vingt sont du continent africain, treize d'obédience francophone, sept d'obédience anglophone, trois arabophones, deux lusophones.
